Mind Activities Of Your Children, Customers, Tenants - Uvwie Monarch Warns Residents

HRM Dr Emmanuel Ekemejewa Sideso( JP) OON Abe 1, the Ovie of Uvwie Kingdom has warned parents, business operators and landlords in Uvwie Kingdom, to mind the activities of their children, customers and tenants respectively .

The Ovie of Uvwie Kingdom handed down the warning through the Unuevworo ( the highest tradititioal chief ) in Uvwie Kingdom High Chief Hope Akasa (JP), while reacting to the arrest of 67 gay suspects in an hotel along Refinery Road Effurun Uvwie Local Government Area recently.

The traditional ruler warned that the palace will not take lightly any individual or group of persons that would want to tarnish the name of Uvwie Kingdom.

The Uvwie monarch who praised the police for the arrest of the gay suspects, promised that the palace will give all the necessary support to security agents in the fight against crime in the area.

Meanwhile, reliable sources said the suspects came from other parts of the state and country for the alleged gay wedding at the said hotel.

Adding that the suspects had identification marks on one of their fingers and that they were subjected to medical test before they would be charged to court.

In a related development, the Unuevworo of Uvwie Kingdom High Chief Hope Akasa (JP) paid a courtesy visit to the Ekpan Police Division where he conveyed the appreciation of the Ovie of Uvwie Kingdom to the DPO in-charge of the station CSP Aliu Shaba.

Akasa was accompanied by another Uvwie chief, Chief Aminu Ndidi..
