PA To Uvwie Monarch, Kenneth Okwowe, Is Dead

The entire Uvwie Kingdom was thrown into a state of mourning over the demise of the Personal Assistant ( PA ) to Ovie of Uvwie Kingdom, High Chief Kenneth Okwowe, who passed on Tuesday, 12th September, 2023.

He died at the age of 62 years after a brief illness.

Until his death, he was also the Usavwre of the Etch R’ Alegbo ( tradititioal key of the traditional administrative unit of Uvwie Kingdom ) and treasurer of Uvwie General Improvement Union (UGIU).

Meanwhile, distinguished Uvwie indigenes have reacted to the demise of High Chief Okwowe.

The Unuevworo ( highest tradititioal chief ) of Uvwie Kingdom, High Chief Hope Akasa ( JP) described the death as a painful loss to the kingdom.

Likewise, former Commissioner for Justice and Attorney General of Delta State, High Chief Victor Otomiewo noted the death was a painful loss to Uvwie Kingdom, just as he described the late Uvwie high chief as a loyal and hardworking chief to the palace of the Ovie of Uvwie and indeed the entire kingdom.

The President General of Uvwie General Improvement Union ( UGIU), Abovi Hope Erute, in his reaction also lamented that the death of High Chief Kenneth Okwowe was a painful and great loss to UGIU and the entire Uvwie Kingdom.
