Oborevwori Felicitates Pius Sinebe At 74
Delta State Governor, Rt. Hon Sheriff Oborevwori, has congratulated former State Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party, (PDP), Dr Pius Sinebe, as he clocks 74 on October 25.
In a statement by his Chief Press Secretary, Sir Festus Ahon, the Governor said Sinebe’s knowledge, experience and regular counsel to his government had remained a major contribution to stability in the state.
In the statement Governor Oborevwori acknowledged that Sinebe’s expertise, experience, and consistent guidance to subsequent administrations had played a significant role in maintaining stability within the state and in its development.
The Governor rejoiced with the Ijaw-born leader for his immense contributions to the growth and development of the PDP and for his astute leadership in his Patani local government area.
He noted that the former state chairman of PDP was one of the elders who stood firmly to ensure that the party waxed stronger in the state.
He said that future political leaders should aim to emulate the elder statesman’s unwavering forthrightness, dedication and broad-mindedness in order to further the interests of Delta and all Nigerians.

Oborevwori praised Sinebe for being a stalwart of the party from its founding, pointing out that,at 74, he had shown rare strength and wisdom that few others his age had.
“On behalf of the government and people of Delta State, I congratulate an illustrious Deltan and elder statesman of repute, Dr Pius Sinebe, on his 74th birth anniversary.
“It is my earnest prayer that God will continue to bless Sinebe with longer life, good health and strength to continue to serve the state,” he stated.
