By Ambrose Ologide
A distinguished Rotarian, Cletus Zokumor, an engineer, has appealed to Governor Sheriff Francis Oborevwori on the development of rural riverne areas in Delta State.
The highly esteemed Ijaw patriot made the appeal in a media interaction with newsmen shortly after a rotary club function in Warri recently.
He commended Governor Oborevwori on his developmental strides in Warri and Uvwie Local Government areas so far under one year in office.
“This shows that he is committed to the development of the state. He is going to do more across other cities in the state,” he stated.
Rotarian Cletus Zokumor however quickly added that most often rural riverine communities were forgotten in the developmental plans of the state.
He stated that “this should not be, because rural riverine communities develop the economy that sustain the country.”
