Ibuakevwe Lauds Appeal Court Over Oborevwori’s Victory

A Peoples Democratic Party ( PDP) Warri South Local Government Council chairmanship aspirant, Deacon Ejiro Ibuakevwe has lauded the Court of Appeal over its verdict on Governor Sheriff Francis Oborevwori’s victory.
Ibuakevwe spoke to our correspondent as he celebrated the Appeal Court victory verdict of Governor Oborevwori with his teeming supporters at his country home of Agbarha Warri community of Edjeba shortly after the verdict was announced on Friday 24th November , 2023 .
The PDP Warri South Local Government Council chairmanship aspirant applauded the Court of Appeal for upholding the verdict of the Asaba Governorship Electoral Tribunal which he noted was the true outcome of Delta State governorship election.
“Governor Oborevwori’s victory at the polls was a true reflection of the wish of the people of Delta State and it also is a verdict of God.
“No man can appeal the verdict of God. The verdict will be upheld again at the Supreme Court,” he added.
Ibuakevwe who is the Oghwuvwie ( President ) of Edjeba Warri Community, explained that he celebrated Governor Oborevwori’s Appeal victory because he ( Governor Oborevwori ) is his role model in politics.
“By the grace of God if I am given a chance to become chairman of Warri South Local Government Council, I will add to his MORE Agenda,” he stated.
