Urhobos Should Stand By Any Decision Taken By Oborevwori – Owe

The President General of Urhobo Progress Union (UPU )Worldwide, Chief Ese Owe, fondly called Esegam has warned that Urhobos should stand by any decision taken by Governor Sheriff Francis Oborevwori.
The erudite lawyer also noted that for the Urhobos to do otherwise, may expose Governor Oborevwori to ridicule and that it will not be a good example to other ethnic groups in the state if the Urhobos should disrespect the governor.
Esegam who spoke on why Ewu Kingdom in Ughelli South Local Government was excluded from the just concluded elections of Urhobo Progress Union( UPU) Worldwide youthwing noted that ” The strength we have as a body or organisation lies in the capacity and calibre of people we are shunning out .
“So certain decisions he ( Governor Oborevwori )has taken or he is taking, we ( Urhobos ) should be able to stand by it, or else, we will expose the governor to ridicule before other ethnic groups in the state, “he added.

The Eku born President General of UPU Worldwide had vowed that until the Ewu Urhobo Kingship tussle was resolved by the court, the UPU Worldwide under his administration will not have anything to with Ewu Urhobo kingdom as a mark of respect to Governor Oborevwori as he recalled that the Delta State Government has approved a staff of office to the monarch of the kingdom.
He had earlier vexplained that the decision of the UPU Worldwide under his administration was responsible for why Ewu Urhobo Kingdom was excluded from the just concluded UPU youthwing executive committee members elections at UPU Cultural Centre Uvwiamughe Agbarho in Ughelli North Local Government Area.]
