TAP Portugal Airlines Honours Okonjo Iweala’s Sister, Dr. Njide Udochi

The international airline of Portugal, TAP Portugal has honoured and given recognition to the Obi of Ogwashi-Uku Kingdom’s sister and also sister to the WTO Director General, Ngozi Okonjo Iweala for saving the day and resuscitating and treating a passenger who was 20 weeks pregnant on a flight from Lisbon, Portugal to SaoTome and Principe via Accra Ghana.

Noting on a Twitter post, she commented, “As a physician being called to help during emergencies is not unusual and can happen when we least expect it.

“I’m so glad this passenger made it, and an emergency landing was prevented.

“Again, as we wind down the year to celebrate with family and friends, let us be vigilant and aware of those less fortunate than us and those in need and lend a helping hand when we can

Dr Njide Udochi just received an award two weeks ago as the best doctor in the state of Maryland, USA.
