OGSOBA Celebrates 70th Anniversary Jan. 26

Okotie-Eboh Grammar School, Sapele Old Boys Association (OGSOBA) has concluded arrangements to roll out drums to mark the Platinum Jubilee celebration of their Alma mata in grand style in a three day event beginning from Friday, January 26, 2024.

According to a statement signed by Victor Okpomor (JP), National Secretary, Precious Omene, National Public Relations Officer and Elder Rangers Mene, Chairman, 70th Anniversary Celebration Organizing Committee, the three day event would commence with the arrival of Old Boys from across the country and beyond and a novelty match between Old Boys of the School and Old Boys of a sister school to round off Day1 in the school compound.

The statement added that Day 2 which is Saturday, January 27 , 2023 that would attract dignitaries from across the country would be loaded with activities such as interaction with the students, cultural display, keynote address by the Governor of Delta State and Gala nite where awards would be given to outstanding Old Boys, the launch for Legacy Project of Computer Based Test (CBT) Centre for the students.

According to the statement, “Day 3, which is Sunday, January 28, 2023 will feature a thanksgiving service by Old Boys, their families and friends at Dominion Baptist Church, near Ziks Grammar School, Sapele.”
