By Daniel Dafe
Popular gospel musician based in Warri, Delta State, Solo Kings, has released a thanksgiving song on behalf of Governor Sheriff Oborevwori to celebrate his post-election court victories.
Speaking to Oasis Magazine on Sunday, the gospel musician, said: “I released the song because of what God did for the governor. I am so happy and grateful to God for helping the Governor win his 38 court cases. I did the song to let our people know that Sheriff is a product of grace. Oborevwori is the David of our time.”
Adding: “You can’t fight a man that God is standing by his side and backing. David did not lose any battle and Oborevwori can’t lose any battle either.”
The song titled: ‘Sheriff Kill Goliath,” warns people not to fight any man that God has given grace, saying he, Oborevwori and Deltans are grateful to God.
He continued: “I have been following Oborevwori for a long time and he is a great politician with so much street credibility.”
Kings who served under the Okowa administration as SA on Entertainment, hoped that he would be given a chance to also serve in the Oborevwori administration.
Asked to access the governor’s tenure so far, he said: “Oborevwori has been excellent on the job. He is God-sent.
“All he said he would do, he has started doing them. He started very well. His campaign promises are getting fulfilled before our eyes.
“The More Agenda will add much value to Deltans.”
He urged Deltans to support the new administration, saying “Sheriff is a unifier.”
“This is the time.for all Deltans to work together in order for the ‘More Agenda’ to take the state to the next level.
“The ‘Ukodo’ is going round, I hope it gets to me, too,” he prayed.
