Ughelli Rovers Football Club Appoints Olawale Adigun As Sporting Director

Ughelli Rovers Football Club has appointed Olawale Adigun as the new Sporting Director of the club.
A statement published on the club’s verified X page, said: “With extensive experience over a decade in Sports Broadcasting on Radio and Television, leaving trails of excellence and high performance everywhere he has worked in.
“Olawale Adigun is a multiple award-winning Sports Journalist who have worked with the very best of Sports Journalists across the country plus Nigerian athletes from different sports. He brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to his new role and to ensure that Ughelli Rovers FC remains at the forefront of football excellence in Nigeria.”
Commenting on his appointment, Olawale Adigun said, “I am honoured and excited to join Ughelli Rovers Football Club as Sporting Director. This is a club with a rich history and a bright future, and I am committed to helping the team achieve its goals both on and off the pitch. I look forward to working with the talented individuals at the club and contributing to its continued success.”
The Chairman and Founder of Ughelli Rovers Football Club, Oke Umurhohwo, expressed his confidence in Adigun’s ability to lead the club’s sporting department saying that, “We are delighted to welcome Olawale Adigun to Ughelli Rovers. His passion for the game, combined with his strategic vision and leadership skills, make him the ideal candidate for this role. We believe that under his guidance, the club will reach new heights of success,” he said.
