Iran: Our Commitment To Israel’s Security, Unwavering –Joe Biden

By Daniel Dafe
President of the United States, Joe Biden has said that his support for Israel in the face of attacks from Iran was unwavering.
The attack, less than two weeks after a suspected Israeli strike in Syria that killed two Iranian generals in an Iranian consular building, marked the first time Iran has launched a direct military assault on Israel, despite decades of enmity dating back to the country’s 1979 Islamic Revolution.
In a post on X, Sunday, Biden disclosed that he just met with his national security team for an update on Iran’s attacks against Israel.
Adding: “Our commitment to Israel’s security against threats from Iran and its proxies is ironclad.”
Meanwhile, the Israeli military said early Sunday morning that Iran had launched more than 200 drones and missiles, describing many of the incoming threats as having been intercepted away from Israel’s borders but adding that the salvo was ongoing.
