TCN: Port Harcourt Main Substation Receives Third Power Transformer
The Port Harcourt region of the Transmission Company of Nigeria (TCN), has taken delivery of 100/110MVA power transformer and accessories in its 132/33kV Port Harcourt Main Transmission Substation.
The new transformer is the third transformer delivered to the substation in recent times.
Recall that 100MVA and 60MVA power transformers were earlier delivered, and the 100MVA transformer has already been commissioned.

TCN in a post on X said this attests to their relentless commitment to increasing its wheeling capacity to transmit more power to distribution load centers nationwide.
The 100/110MVA transformer will add 80MW to the substation’s capacity when installed.
