Yahaya Bello: American International School Transfers $760,910.84 To EFCC
The American International School of Abuja has transferred $760,910.84 to the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, out of the $845,852 in school fees allegedly paid by former Kogi State Governor Yahaya Bello for the education of five of his children at the school.
The sum of $845,852 is alleged to have been unlawfully taken from the funds of the Kogi State Government.
Bello adamantly refuted the accusation yesterday and promised that he would not yield to any attempts at manipulation to “come through the backdoor.”
