Former Commissioner Of Health In Edo, Prof Ehegie, Is Dead
Former Commissioner for Health, Edo State, Professor (Mrs.) Aihanuwa Eregie, is dead
The cause of her death is not yet known.
She was the Honourable Commissioner for Health from March 2013 – November 2016.
Eregie was a Professor of Medicine ( Endocrinology and Metabolism), at the University of Benin.
She was the wife of Professor Charles Eregie.

According to the University of Benin Public Relations Officer, Benedicta Ehanire, she said that the Vice Chancellor, Professor Lilian Salami has expressed shock and sadness over the loss and on behalf of the Uniben community, prayed God to rest her soul and comfort her family.
