AYF Warri Diocesan Council Elects New President

The Anglican Youth Fellowship (AYF) Warri Diocesan Council has re-elected Bro Efe Ohwo, as their President.

Ohwo among other fresh executives was elected by the youth body of the Church of Nigeria – Anglican Communion, Diocese of Warri during the just concluded Annual General Meeting/Election that took place on Friday, 28th June 2024, at St. Matthews Anglican Church, Ugbomro, Effurun.

Bro. Efe Ohwo expressed his gratitude to God almighty for his grace upon the fellowship and previous achievement and also appreciated his Lordship, Rt. Revd Christian Esezi Ide (JP) – Anglican Warri Diocesan Bishop.

Efe also thanked all the delegates, clergy members, past leaders, and council elders for their unwavering support and contributions towards the successful conduct of the election.

Furthermore, Bro. Ohwo extended his appreciation to the host church, leaders, and church authorities for their guidance and assistance.

He emphasized the importance of unity and urged all newly elected officers to embrace the responsibilities entrusted to them with diligence and dedication.

Meanwhile, the newly elected leaders are expected to oversee the administrative affairs of the youth body for the next three years.
