Foreigner Affairs Ministry: Permanent Secretary, Ambassador Lamuwa Under Investigation For Sexual Harassment
Randy Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Ibrahim Adamu Lamuwa, alleged for demanding sexual favors from female staffers of the Ministry, is now under investigation.
Lamuwa’s investigation was triggered after a staff member, Mrs Simisola Fajemirokun Ajayi through a petition to the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Yusuf Maitama Tuggar, through her lawyer, Mr Femi Falana (SAN), urged the minister to investigate the permanent secretary.

Tuggar has now sent a letter to the Head of Service where investigations are underway.
Mrs. Ajayi’s petition signed by Adebayo A. Oniyelu LP for Falana & Falana’s, was dated May 29, 2024 and titled: “Request For An Investigation Of Amb. Ibrahim Lamuwa’s Conducts Of Sexual Harassment At The Place Of Work, Abuse Of Office Official Intimidation And Discrimination.”
