Labour Strike: FG Must Give Workers N100, 000 As Minimum Wage —Adewole Adebayor

The Presidential Candidate of the Social Democratic Party, SDO, in the 2923 elections, Adewole Adebayor, has said that it was necessary for the federal government and Labour Unions to quickly agree on the minimum wage matter to avert the strike to begin tomorrow in order for the “rattled economy” not to be more affected.
In his words in a post on X, he said they must not “overdo their game of chicken at the expense of a rattled economy.”
He added: “Adopting hard lines over what ought to be rationally worked out is not leadership.”

According to him, Tinubu “who broke all equilibria must give ₦100,000 minimum wage.”
Furthermore, he opined that “after resolving wage disputes this week, FGN, @NLCHeadquarters and @The_TUC must sit down as adults to discuss macroeconomic price stabilisation by @cenbank, labour productivity, especially the public sector, regulatory environment, infrastructure and social investments long term.”
