Delta: Apostle Chibuzor Took My 7Yr Old Daughter, Boluwatife, Without My Consent, 72Yr Old Man Cries Out

A seventy two year old man, Otunba Makanjuola Eguntola has accused the General Overseer of Omega Power Ministreies OPM, Apostle Chibuzor Gift Chinyere of allegedly taking his daughter, Boluwatife Debora Eguntola without his consent into his charity home.

Otunba Eguntola spoke with newsmen in Effurun, Uvwie Local Government Area of Delta State.

He said his estranged wife, Faith Eremoje George Martey gave his daughter, Boluwatife who will clock seven by November 29, 2024 to the cleric.

He insisted that he cannot take his daughter, stressing,” I have the wherewithal to take care of my child. Bring back my daughter.”

Narrating his ordeal, Otunba disclosed that his estranged fifty year old wife, Faith, left his house with his daughter in Effurun on the 3td of December, 2023 without his knowledge.

He said he then, could no longer reach out to his daughter except through the phone before he was suddenly blocked since March by Faith.

He said efforts to get his daughter back from the cleric who doubles as the Ihie I of Ikwuorie autonomous Community in Abia State has been very unsuccessful.

Otunba said Apostle Chibuzor said the cleric only replied to one of his text messages sent to him to return his daughter if she’s with him on the 18th of May,2024. He tendered the text message which reads this,”Please, send your daughter phone number to me to confirm if she is in OPM.”

He said he promptly sent a reply to the cleric on 18/05/2024. The text reads,”Good evening Sir, my daughter phone number and name is Boluwatife Deborah Makanjuola Eguntola 07011842955.”

Otunba said after his response to the cleric, he didn’t hear any thing from him again.

He said he wrote Apostle Chibuzor through his lawyer just as he also reported the matter to the Police with a petition wherein he copied the Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria,PFN and the Christian Association of Nigeria,CAN and others.

Otunba Eguntola noted that the Police invited the cleric for questioning but he didn’t honour the invitation.

Otunba Eguntola said he sent one of his daughters and her hubby to check if Boluwatife as with Faith.

“Getting to Faith Martey’s house, because she lives in the school compound. They saw three of her children. Grown up one. And she told them Boluwatife is not there. The information she was passing out is that I want to kidnap my daughter. How can I kidnap my own daughter? Again, she alleged that I harassed her with the Police.”

Otunba said the matter was only reported to the Police and she was invited to come and answer State the whereabout of my daughter but failed to honour the invitation. Her lawyer pleaded that he will bring her to the police. “Up till now, the lawyer did not bring her.”

According to Otunba Eguntola, the police recovered my Siena from her and brought it to Warri here. They requested for all particulars to enable them determine if really am the bonafide owner. “I showed them everything. Even her own lawyer wrote that the police should release my motor. Now, she’s claiming the motor is her own.”

He insisted that he must collect his daughter from the cleric just as he urged the President Bola Ahmed Tinubu led Federal Government to wade into the matter to avert an impeding “fracas” between him and the Apostle Chibuzor in the streets of Port-Harcourt, Rivers State.

“If I want to behave the other way round, I will arrange for thugs, this, that, that and there will be civil unrest in Port Harcourt.”

He stressed, “I plead with the government to come up to this matter before it will degenerate because I will collect my daughter from him. “Unless the woman say not be get the pikkin again. Then, we opt for DNA.

“I am very sure 100% that am the owner of that girl. If the DNA prove otherwise, I will let go.

“It’s that at my age at 72 not what my daughter will do for me is what am eyeing. No. But if I don’t defend this course, God will not forgive me.”

Attempts to speak with the estranged wife of Otunba were unsuccessful as her line was not reachable. Our Correspondent also sent a text message to her and she has not responded to same.
