Delta LG Polls: IDU Endorses Ogorugba For Isoko North LGA Chairmanship
The apex socia-cultural body of Isoko nation, the Isoko Development Union, IDU, Friday, endorsed the PDP Chairmanship candidate for Isoko North Local Government Council, Elder Prince Godwin Ogorugba for July 13, Local Government Council election in the state.
The IDU leadership poured encomium on Ogorugba for his selfless service and commitment to anything that concerns Isoko leaders and people.
The President General, Isoko Development Union, IDU, Prof Chris Akpotu gave the commendation in his remarks during a courtesy visit by Elder Godwin Ogorugba, accompanied by members of the Isoko North Campaign Council at IDU house, Oleh roundabout.

Akpotu said “Ogorugba’s coming is just to fulfill all righteousness, if not, he has been committed to doing good to all men of Isoko origin.”
Earlier, the Chairman of the Campaign Council, Dr Paul Oweh and Director-General, Hon. Emmanuel Egbabor, while introducing the party candidate, said Ogorugba, the immediate past PDP Chairman in the local government has been a household name and has been chosen as the chairmanship candidate of the party, adding that they thought it wise to visit the IDU President and the Exco to intimate them on the development.
In his remarks, Ogorugba thanked the IDU President and the union for the warm reception accorded him and his entourage.
He pledged to listen to meaningful advice from everybody and implement his “GOD WINS” Agenda in line with the MORE Agenda of Governor Sheriff Oborevwori.
