Recall that the abductors earlier demanded one billion naira as ransom. It is still unclear if any money was paid before she was set free.

The former Delta State House of Assembly (DTHA), and House of Representatives member who represented Aniocha South State Constituency and Aniocha/Oshimili Federal Constituency was abducted on the 30th of July 2024.

This development is contrary to earlier reports that claimed she was killed by the kidnappers.
