Ex-Delta Gov, Okowa, Endorses Move For Anioma State Creation
Former governor of Delta state, Senator Ifeanyi Okowa has thrown his weight behind creation of Anioma state.
Anioma state, as being pursued by Senator Ned Nwoko representing Delta North in the national assrmbly is to be created out of the present Delta state.
The Anioma area which is Delta North senatorial district has nine local government areas.

They are Oshimili South, Oshimili North, Aniocha South, Aniocha North, Ndokwa west, Ndokwa east, Ukwuani, Ika North east and Ika South
Okowa’s endorsement was revealed by Senator Ned Nwoko during the Anioma stakeholders meeting held at Grand Hotels on Saturday.
According to Senator Nwoko who gave full details of the state creation struggles, he said: “I told Okowa what we are doing. Okowa told me he is supporting Anioma state. But he said it should be in South South Nigeria”
