NDDC: Okotie-Eboh, Amoye Hail Ogbuku’s Transparent, Impactful Leadership
Prominent ltsekiri group, the Itsekiri Development Forum, at the weekend, hailed the head of the board and management team of the Niger Delta Development Commission, NDDC, Dr. Samuel Ogbuku’s transparent and impactful leadership in handling the affairs of the commission.
The Chairman and Coordinator of the group, Prince Emmanuel Omotsho Okotie-Eboh, the Ex Regent of Warri kingdom and Prince Shola Emiko Amoye, commended President Bola Ahmed Tinubu who in his wisdom constituted the Niger Delta Development Commission, (NDDC), board under the exemplary leadership of Dr Samuel Ogbuku piloting the affairs of the commission.
Okotie-Eboh and Amoye, while speaking to newsmen in Warri, Delta state, described the achievements recorded within the short time Ogbuku’s team has assumed office as a huge success, stating that his leadership quality is a testament of his commitment and dedication to hard work, thus turning the commission into a window of hope for all Niger Deltans.
Highlighting some of the major achievements of Dr. Samuel Ogbuku in various areas of human endeavours, Okotie-Eboh said he has impacted positively several lives in the Niger Delta region, mostly in the Implementation of developmental and infrastructural projects, both in healthcare services, education and providing all necessary amenities in the region.

Okotie-Eboh speaking further said, “Ogbuku has for the short time he has assumed office shown a high level of transparency in his day-to-day management of the commission and this has promoted unity, oneness and harmony among staff, management and the board members and ensured that the people work in synergy with IOC’s (international oll companies), host states governments, local communities, and stakeholders for a purposeful development.
“The workings of Dr. Samuel Ogbuku is no doubt in line with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s developmental and transformational agenda, hence the board has empowered youths and women through skill acquisition programs to make them independent minded, with entrepreneurship initiatives, job opportunities and economic growth to maximally all forms of crime related issues.
“Ogbuku’s prompt payment of contractors was another phase of trust and confidence the NDDC contractors had built on the leadership of the board headed by Dr. Samuel Ogbuku and the recent launching of the Niger Delta youths internship program where over 10.000 youths received N50,000 monthly allowance is another good initiative introduced since the establishment of NDDC in 2000.”
