Policemen Are Not Allowed To Search Phones –Delta PPRO

Police Public Relations Officer, PPRO, SP Bright Edafe has said that phones are private properties and should not be searched by police officers, saying policemem are not allowed to search phones.
He said this in a post on X on Saturday afternoon.

He wrote: “No Policeman in Delta can ever tell me they search a person’s phone.”
Adding: “It is your private property.”
“They can’t do you anything, just don’t allow them to search your phone,” he urged phone owners.
