Two Men In Delta To Spend Ten Years Behind Bars For Illegal Possession Of Firearms

A High Court of Justice, Kwale in Delta State, presided over by Honourable Justice O. F Enenmo has convicted and sentenced two men to jail for ten years for illegally possessing a cut to size single Barrel gun
The Defendants who are now in custody at the custodial centre, Kwale are Mr Joshua Anamali 25, and Mr Nelson Adoh 30 years respectively.
The two Defendants, were arrested by police men who were on their normal routine stop and search on 27th day of January 2021 at Ndemili in Ndokwa west local government Area of Delta State where the exhibit was recovered from them.

The presiding Judge who carefully examined the case proffered against the Defendants found them guilty as charged and consequently convicted and sentenced them for the offence of illegal possession of firearms.
The Prosecuting Counsel Mrs Catherine O. Oboreruomo said two witnesses, testified in the case against the Defendants who defended themselves.
Mrs Oboreruomo, in a chat with journalists after the judgement, advised young people to shun crime, affirming that the result of crime is condemnation and total destruction.
