Vietnam Appoints New Deputy PMs, Ministers, Court Leaders
Vietnam’s top legislative body has approved the appointment of several high-ranking government officials, including three new deputy prime ministers, two ministers, and new leaders for the Supreme People’s Court and Supreme People’s Procuracy.
According to the Vietnam News Agency, the appointments were confirmed on Monday. Chief Justice of the Supreme People’s Court, Nguyen Hoa Binh, Minister of Finance Ho Duc Phoc, and Minister of Foreign Affairs Bui Thanh Son were all promoted to the role of deputy prime ministers.

Do Duc Duy, Secretary of the Yen Bai Province Party Committee, has been named the new Minister of Natural Resources and Environment. Nguyen Hai Ninh, Secretary of Khanh Hoa Province Party Committee, has taken over as Minister of Justice.
Le Minh Tri, the former prosecutor general of the Supreme People’s Procuracy, has been appointed Chief Justice of the Supreme People’s Court, while Nguyen Huy Tien, previously the deputy prosecutor general, succeeds Tri as the new prosecutor general.
