People of Anioma nation have commended Senator Ned Nwoko for his visit to the minister of works, David Umahi, and director general of Federal Roads Maintenance Agency (FERMA), Engr. Chukwuemeka Agbasi, where he was given assurance of speedy work on failed portions of Benin-Asaba expressway.

Specifically, the Delta North Senator mentioned the stretch between Alifikede in Ika land and Asaba Bridge end, which he said has become hazardous and has resulted in numerous fatalities.

Reports went viral showing photos of the Delta North Senator with the Managing Director of FERMA, after a fruitful discussion on plans to rehabilitate the deplorable state of the federal road running through to the River Niger in Asaba, the Delta state capital.

The move by Senator Ned Nwoko shows a commitment to fulfilling one of his campaign promises to the people and residents of Delta North area in the oil rich Delta state.

Since the report of his visit to the two federal authorities went viral on X and other social media platforms, accolades have continued to pour in, revealing the people’s love for their representative at the National Assembly.
