Uvwie LGC SLG: Appointment Of Osakwe, A Welcome Development – Akasa

The Unuevworo of Uvwie Kingdom, High Chief Hope Akasa JP has asserted that the appointment of Hon Orayham Osakwe as Secretary to Uvwie Local Government Council ( SLG ) was a welcome development to the kingdom.

Akasa who is the highest traditional chief in Uvwie Kingdom made the assertion in a media interaction with our correspondent shortly after the swearing in of Hon Orayham Osakwe as the new Secretary to Uvwie Local Government Council at the Uvwie Local Government Council Secretariat on Friday, 13th September, 2024.

He commended and appreciated the Executive Chairman of Uvwie Local Government Council, Chief Hon Anthony Ofoni for his choice of Hon Orayham Osakwe as SSG to the local government council as he noted that Hon Osakwe is a resourceful, grassroot politician, humble and transparent.

“He is the type we have been yearning for. He is a square peg in a square hole.”

“The people of Etche R ‘ Alegbo and the entire people of Uvwie Kingdom are happy about his appointment as SSG to Uvwie Local Government Council,” he added.

He used the opportunity to hail the Uvwie Local Government Council Executive Chairman, Chief Hon Anthony Ofoni for his positive transformation of Uvwie Local Local Government Area in barely less than six months in office.
