Akasa Canvasses Support For Tantita Security Services
By Ambrose Ologide
The Unuevworo (the highest traditional chief) of Uvwie Kingdom, High Chief Hope Akasa JP has canvassed support for Tantita Security Services Limited.
This was contained in a statement he issued on Thursday, 9th April, 2026.
The statement reads in part: “Uvwie and Gbaramatu are one and we enjoin all Urhobo’s to support what Tantita Security Services Limited is doing in Delta Central and Delta at large. We should support them in the development they are doing and I must say, they are doing very well.
“They have taken youths and even fathers from the street by employing them and giving them sense of belonging which have reduced youth restiveness in the state. A Stranger was handling the contract before now, nobody held about pipeline security, we should support our own.
“The peace we are enjoying in Delta state, Tantita has contributed a lot. High Chief Government Oweizide Ekpemupolo contributed ten billion to enhance security in our dear state. That shows that security is paramount and a man who contributed such should not be envied or fought. Only peace can bring about development. We should all work with Tantita to promote peace, in order to bring the change we want.
“I still want to appreciate the project governor, his Excellency Sheriff Francis Oborevwori on the MORE AGENDA initiative embarked upon by his administration. Delta state has not felt such impact for a long time and I appreciate him for this great work and I pray God give more wisdom in leading the state to greater heights.”
