NUJ-Oasis Chapel To Commence Spelling Bee Competition In Ethiope East Tuesday

Oasis Magazine Chapel of the Nigeria Union of Journalists, NUJ, will on Tuesday commence the 2024 Spelling Bee Competition for secondary schools in Ethiope East Local Government Area of Delta State.
According to a statement on Monday evening by the Chairman of the Planning Committee, Rev. (Dr.) Roland Orogun, the contest will take place in Abraka, Eku and Isiokolo, adding that the final will be held in Abraka amongst the best five schools from each of the locations.

He continued: “All schools from Eku, Okurekpo, Okpara Water Side and Samagidi, are to meet on Tuesday 15th October at Aganbi Primary School, Eku for the contest.
“Schools from Kokori, Ovu, Okpara Inland, Isiokolo, Orokpo and Oviorie will meet at Agbon Secondary School, Isiokolo by 11am on Thursday, 17th October.”
Adding: “Then schools from Oria and all Abraka will meet at Abraka Grammar School on Friday, 18th October.”
Furthermore, he said the contest will kickoff at 11a.m. daily at the said locations.
Continuing, he said that cash prizes will be won by the overall best three performing schools.
