Delta Chief Judge Grants Freedom To Inmate At Warri Correctional Centre

Justice Tessy Diai, the Chief Judge of Delta State, has granted freedom to an inmate, Napue Chitu, following a review at the Warri Correctional Centre.
This was disclosed in a press statement by Mr. Onoriode Etatsemi, the Public Relations Officer of the state Ministry of Justice.

According to the statement, Justice Diai’s visit included a review of 379 warrants, although Chitu was the only inmate released, as other cases are still ongoing in court.
Justice Diai’s visit is part of ongoing efforts to address the backlog of cases and ensure fair justice for inmates within the Delta State correctional facilities.
