New NUJ National President Emerges
Alhassan Yahaya from Gombe state council on Wednesday night emerged as the new President of the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ) during the 8th Triennial National Delegates Conference in Owerri, Imo State.Food and travel guides
Yahaya became NUJ president after polling a massive 436 votes to defeat Dele Atunbi with 97 votes.
Muhammed Garba got a paltry 39 votes.
While Atunbi is of FCT council, Garba contested under Kaduna council.

Alhassan, the immediate National Deputy President of the union, has now taking over from Chris Isiguzo as the number one media practitioner in Nigeria.
Also, a Deputy Director with Radio Nigeria, Mrs Abimbola Oyetunde emerged as Deputy National President of the Union unopposed.
