Oasis Magazine Chapel Installs Delta Monarch As Patron, Educator As Patroness

Oasis Magazine Chapel of the Nigeria Union of Journalists, NUJ, has installed the Ovie of Umiaghwa-Abraka Kingdom, Ethiope East Local Government Area, HRM (AVM) Lucky Ochuko Ararile (Rtd), Avwaeke 1 and the Proprietress of City Child Foundation Schools, Ekpan, Amb. Dr. (Mrs.) Rose Obi, as patron and patroness respectively.

The brief ceremony held on Thursday during the Distinguished Nigerian Awards, DISNA, organized by Oasis Magazine.

The investitures of HRM Ararile and Dr. Obi were coordinated by the State Chairman of NUJ, Comrade Churchill Oyovwi.

Speaking before decorating them, Oyovwi, while congratulating them, appealed to them to throw their weights behind the young chapel.

“It is a chapel that is determined to excel and with your support in cash and kind, they will do extremely well,” he said.

He charged the leaders and members of the chapel to come up with ways to synergise with the patron and patroness to achieve their goals.

Responding, the monarch thanked the chapel for choosing him as patron, adding that he is available to faithfully play the role of patron in order for the body to achieve their goals.

He assured that his doors are wide open to receive the chapel whenever the need arises.

On her part, Mrs. Obi, said she was honoured to share the stage with a monarch.

She promised the chapel leaders and members of her unflinching support, saying that they must dream big because she believes in achieving great things.

She commended the union for choosing her as patroness.

“See us as partners with you and feel free to seek our support whenever you need it,” she declared.
