Executive Assistant To Oborevwori On Education Monitoring Congratulates New DELSU VC

Executive Assistant to the Governor on Education Monitoring, Dr. Abel Lucky Ogbe, has congratulated Professor Samuel Ogheneovo Asagba, on his emergence as Vice Chancellor, Delta State University, DELSU, Abraka.
Ogbe, a politician and an indigene of Abraka, the host community of the institution conveyed his congratulations in a letter dated Monday, 9th December, 2024 and addressed to the new VC.
He wrote: “I hereby write to congratulate you on your emergence and appointment as the 8th Vice Chancellor of the Delta State University, Abraka.
“I knew you right from the onset and watched you with keen interest as you rose through the rank and file of your academic carriers, from lecturer II to when you finally became a Professor with lots of knowledge and administrative experiences.
“My interest on you being the Vice Chancellor became interesting when you first started the race in the last regime, because of our long time relationship, but it did not work out due to the powers that be as at that time, but I had always supported you in my daily prayers.

“I want to really thank God for giving you good health, sound mind, courage, stability and steadfastness in your continuous quest in the struggle and today by God grace, you are our long awaited ordained Vice Chancellor.”
He added: “Your appointment is well-deserved and a “Round Peg in a Round Hole” and is long overdue. We believed you using your vast wealth of knowledge and experiences in taking the University to a greater height.
“I and my teaming followers as a politician, a political appointee and an indigene want to pledge our unalloyed support to you and your management team and I am ever READY and AVAILABLE to work with you in synergy through the MORE agenda of his Excellency to bring back the glory in the Education sector.
“Once again, Congratulations and more grace to your elbow.”
Meanwhile, Oasis Magazine reports that the said political appointee paid a courtesy visit to the new VC on Monday.
