You Are A Peace Builder And Outstanding Lawmaker, Omo-Agege Tells Evance Ivwurie At 58

Hon. Evance Ochuko Ivwurie as been described as community peace maker who utilised his time as a lawmaker to consolidate peaceful coexistence among the communities in his constituency.

Deputy President of the Senate in 9th Assembly, Senator Ovie Omo-Agege, gave the commendation in his goodwill message to the former lawmaker on his 58th birthday.

Ivwurie’s peaceful disposition was demonstrated through the swiftness with which he intervened to resolve the Ovre-r’eku and Ovre-r’igun dispute during his time as member representing Ethiope East Local Government Area in the Delta State House of Assembly, Omo-Agege recalled.

“As a lawmaker, you chose to walk with your constituents as shown in your advocacy and untiring intervention for the provision of infrastructural and developmental amenities for your people. It is a legacy that precedes you and continues to speak for you,” the former Deputy Senate President who was the gubernatorial flag bearer of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the 2023 elections stated.

Omo-Agege urged him to continue on his pro-people trajectory, saying that at a time like this, politicians and leaders are needed to stand up for their constituents.
