UPDATE: Seminar/Workshop For Delta Community Newspapers To Hold May 20, 21

Senior Special Assistant to Gov Oborevwori on Community Newspapers, Hon.Comrade Prince Orhomonokpaye, has given fresh updates on the forthcoming seminar/workshop training for Delta State Community Newspapers Publishers.
He spoke to Oasis Magazine exclusively on Wednesday.
According to him, the training will be for two days and not a day as previously announced, saying that the dates are Tuesday, 20th and Wednesday, 21st May, 2025.
He cintinued: “The seminar is now for 2 days; the first day, is at Hotel Benizia, Asaba and the Rector of Delta State Polytechnic, Otefe Oghara, Prof. Emmanuel Ufuophu-Biri will deliver the day’s lecture on “The Impact of Adequate Reporting of the MORE Agenda to the Grassroot” at 8:30am, no African time.”

Orhomonokpaye added that the venue for Wednesday is the Press Centre, Old Government House by 9:00am and Dr Pius Mordi will be the Keynote Speaker.
He disclosed that Mordi will lecture on ‘The Role of Community Newspapers in Nigeria.
The said training is expected to enhance the reporting skill of the local media and commemorate the governor’s 2nd anniversary, come May 29, 2025.
