Delta APC: The Illusion Shattered

The carefully constructed illusion by Delta State’s All Progressives Congress (APC) “fake gatekeepers” has spectacularly crumbled.

They promised seamless integration and immediate access to the party’s machinery, a fantasy now exposed as a deceitful charade, much like selling a monkey in a tree without a means to retrieve it. The unsuspecting, having paid their dues, now grasp the bitter reality: the promised prize remains tantalizingly out of reach.

These “fake gatekeepers,” devoid of genuine grassroots influence, sold a hollow victory to defected PDP members. Both the fraudsters and their PDP allies are now realizing that the aboriginal APC grassroots mobilizers are inherently resistant to their manipulative schemes. Their initial ploy to railroad the true APC into a “slaughterhouse” of the Delta State PDP through a “defection in pretense” has unequivocally failed.

In a desperate pivot, they’ve unleashed their next deceptive maneuver.

*A Desperate Gambit: The Constituency Invasion*

Having failed to orchestrate a mass defection, these self-proclaimed “gatekeepers,” now largely unrecognized as genuine APC stalwarts, have concocted a new strategy. Abandoning their supposed offices in Abuja and Asaba, they’ve shifted their battleground to Senatorial and Federal Constituencies. Their transparent and illegitimate tactic involves orchestrating multiple illegal political meetings in these crucial areas. This calculated maneuver aims to overwhelm the formidable “Grassroots Resistance” they consistently encounter and to financially coerce unsuspecting, fainthearted grassroots members and supporters of the legitimate APC. The daily deluge of announcements for these unauthorized gatherings, convened by unfit and unrecognized political figures, underscores the escalating desperation of their failing enterprise.

Yet, a palpable sense of defiance and triumph invigorates the ranks of the genuine aboriginal APC grassroots members. These hurried meetings are demonstrably failing to ignite their intended fervor. The party’s authentic base remains resolutely unmoved by the transparent antics of these “fake gatekeepers.” Genuine APC members, intrinsically linked to the party’s core, intrinsically understand who the “Real Gatekeeper” of the APC is in Delta State. The prevailing mantra echoes with resonant truth: “You can fool some people for a short time, but you can never fool all the people for a long time.”

*Call to Arms: Resist and Uphold the Constitution*

To all true and genuine aboriginal APC grassroots mobilizers, the directive is unequivocal: boycott and avoid these hurriedly and rapidly convened illegal meetings. Their singular agenda is to compromise the integrity of as many genuine APC members as possible – a scheme fundamentally “dead on arrival.” The imperative is clear: we must resist them; we must continue to occupy our rightful political space.

These “fake gatekeepers” and their “defected PDP members” are intimately familiar with the sacred provisions of the APC Constitution. This foundational document is both sacrosanct and unwavering on the precise procedures for a defector to legitimately join and be integrated into the APC. They have initiated their machinations on a fundamentally flawed and unconstitutional footing. They cannot, amidst their cascade of political missteps and outright shenanigans, now expect to railroad everyone into endorsing their unconstitutional sins through these rapid and hastily convened meetings. They must, without equivocation, return to basics and adopt the correct, constitutional approach.

The spectacle is frankly laughable: two or three defected PDP members in a manufactured photo opportunity with one or two “fake gatekeepers,” followed by a headline proclaiming “the APC is now one united family” in a particular LGA. How is it that these purveyors of deceit continue to peddle such blatant lies and fake news? Do they genuinely believe that by convening these illegal and unauthorized meetings, they can somehow rectify their wrongs or whitewash their litany of misdeeds?

The authentic and aboriginal APC stands resolute, awaiting their next maneuver at every turn. We will not be shaken; we will not be moved! The authentic APC was not forged with government funds, nor through the insidious act of political betrayals. It certainly did not ascend to its enviable grassroots-based stature today through Delta State Government funds. Rather, it was meticulously built upon the unyielding bedrock of law and order and the unwavering integrity of its grassroots members, who have sworn to uphold every single tenet of the APC Constitution.

The battle for Delta APC is far from over. Will the true custodians of the party’s ideals triumph over this desperate, unconstitutional onslaught?
