The attention of the Delta State Post Primary Education Board (PPEB) has been drawn to a false and misleading report trending online that the Delta State Teachers Application Recruitment Form portal is open for interested applicants to apply.
Reacting to the report , the Post Primary Education Board under the watch of the Executive Chairman, Professor Emmanuel Tibi Herby debunks the false claim, describing it as a figment of the imagination of the publisher.
In a statement from the Chairman, the Board clarified that no approval had been given for the Board to embark on any recruitment exercise for either teachers or non teaching staff.
The statement explained that in the history of the Post Primary Education Board, there had never been any time the Board carried out teachers’ recruitment in the state without informing the public by placing an advertorial on the pages of the state owned newspaper, The Pointer and other national dailies.
It advised the public to disregard such online reports and be wary of fraudsters, whose stock in trade is to defraud unsuspecting members of the public .
The statement enjoined the public to try as much as possible not to be duped, stressing that the Post Primary Education Board would not be held accountable in the event that they fall victims to a scam.
