Education, The Best Tool To Improve Lives Of Children – Agbatutu

The Proprietress of St. Anastasia Heights School, Effurun, Uvwie Local Government Area, Chief (Mrs )Anastasia Onisuru Agbatutu, has asserted that education is the best tool to improve the lives of children.
The renowned educationist cum counsellor made the assertion in a media chat with our correspondent during the school’s 31st anniversary and her birthday anniversary on Saturday 25th July, 2025.
She therefore strongly advised parents to invest in the education of their children.
The respected Uvwie chief, gave members of the alumni association of the famous school a pat on their backs for adding colour to the event and for their individual achievements so far in life.
She charged graduands to excel in their future endeavors like members of the alumni association.
Agbatutu in the media interaction was also full praises for HRM Dr Emmanuel Ekemejewa Sideso JP OON Abe 1, the Ovie of Uvwie Kingdom for his annual institution of quiz competition for students in Uvwie Local Government Area and for instituting scholarship scheme for students in the local government area since his ascension to the throne.
“Umogu ( the Ovie of Uvwie Kingdom) has always been present through his chiefs during our celebrations,” she added.
The Proprietress of St Anastasia Heights School also appreciated Uvwie born Chairman of the Board of Internal Revenue in Delta State, Chief Hon Solomon Okporua Ighrakpata for sponsoring the foundation of old students association of the famous school.
Agbatutu also remembered Governor Sheriff Francis Oborevwori in her words of appreciation for the rehabilitation of Uti Road, an area where the school is located.
She had earlier in a her key note address, listed the numerous achievements of the school so far as she explained that the school was founded in 1994 with the sole aim of providing quality education for learners.
Meanwhile, a special guest at the occasion, Dr Dickson Onovwakpoma Oyovwi (JP), the Provost of College of Education (COE), Warri had earlier eruditely gave a thought provoking talk on ‘ Career Choice in the 21st Century.’

Oyovwi stated among other things “that choosing a career today is not just about following the old path. It is about looking ahead; It is about understanding your strengths, your passions, your purpose — and finding where those meet the needs of the world.”
The epoch making event featured varieties of colourful activities, but the high point was the cutting of the birthday anniversary cake by Chief (Mrs ) Anastasia Onisuru Agbatutu who was assisted by her lovely husband, Chief Adulphus Agbatutu and other guests.
The event was attended by a some highly esteemed chiefs of Uvwie Kingdom and others.
