Birthday: DELSU Management Felicitates With Professor Sam Oyovbaire

The Management of Delta State University (DELSU) has felicitated with the immediate past Pro-Chancellor and Chairman of DELSU Governing Council, Professor Sam Ejite Oyovbaire on the occasion of his 84th birthday celebration.

Speaking during a visit to Oporaja in Okpe Local Government Area, the Vice Chancellor and Chief Executive of DELSU, Professor Samuel Ogheneovo Asagba, who led the University management team, stated that the delegation was there to celebrate and rejoice with the octogenarian on the occasion of his birthday.

Professor Samuel Ogheneovo Asagba on behalf of Senate, Staff and Students of the University, specially congratulated the octogenarian on the milestone of 84th birthday celebration.

In his response, Professor Sam Oyovbaire expressed delight at the visit by the University Management team led by the Vice Chancellor, Professor Samuel Ogheneovo Asagba.

Professor Oyovbaire offered prayers for the success of Professor Asagba’s administration and for the continued growth and development of Delta State University (DELSU).

Dignitaries present during the visit included Vice Chancellor, Professor Samuel Ogheneovo Asagba, Deputy Vice Chancellor (Academic), Professor Hilary Ijeoma Owamah, the University Registrar, Mrs Rufina Ufiofio, the University Bursar, Mrs Otimeyin Ekakitie-Omajuwa, the University Librarian, Dr (Mrs) Josephine Eruterio Onohwakpor, Deputy Registrar in-charge of the Vice Chancellor’s office, Mrs Ejiro Otobro, the University Public Relations Officer, Mr Henry Eseka and others.
