Tantita: PG Of Orogun Kingdom Debunks Allegations Against Omo-Agege, Brother

By Ambrose Ologide
The President General of Orogun Kingdom, Chief ( Dr ) Benis Agbonifo has debunked allegations against Senator Ovie Omo-Agege and Mr Jimmy Omo-Agege made by one Mr Paranran on the operations of Tantita Oil Security Services Company in the social media.
This was contained in statement issued by Chief ( Dr ) Agbonifo made available to our correspondent at the weekend.
The statement titled: ‘Misleading Social Media Video and Defamatory Remarks by One Mr. Paranran ‘ reads inter alia: ‘The attention of the leadership of Orogun Kingdom has been drawn to a trending video circulating on social media, in which one Mr. Paranran made highly defamatory statements against the person of Distinguished Senator Ovie Omo-Agege and Mr. Jimmy Omo-Agege. ‘The said video not only contains baseless allegations, but it also dangerously incites division and chaos by misleading a handful of unsuspecting youths within our Kingdom.
“As President General of Orogun Kingdom, and on behalf of the peace-loving people of our land, I wish to categorically state the following:
‘1. Tantita Security Services Limited is a federal government-approved security contractor tasked with safeguarding national oil assets. It is not an Orogun oil pipeline. Rather, Heritage Energy Operational Services Limited (HEOSL) is the company responsible for oil drilling within Orogun territory.
‘2. Mr. Jimmy Omo-Agege, who has been falsely targeted in the video, is a reputable businessman and contractor, not a politician. His involvement with Tantita is strictly professional and lawful. It is, therefore, mischievous and dishonest for Mr. Paranran to conflate Jimmy’s legitimate business dealings with partisan politics or the role of Senator Ovie Omo-Agege, a distinguished statesman and political figure in Nigeria.
ALSO READ:
‘3. The views expressed in the video do not reflect the collective voice, opinion, or interest of Orogun youths or the Orogun people. The attempt to create disunity and unrest through misinformation is deeply regrettable and unacceptable.
‘We hereby call on the Federal and Delta State Governments, security agencies, traditional rulers, and the general public to disregard the said video and to hold Mr. Paranran and his associates accountable for their deliberate attempts to sow discord within our peaceful Kingdom.
*Let it be known that Orogun Kingdom remains committed to peace, development, and the rule of law.”
