Ukwuani Local Government Council Excellent Ladies Association Gifts Food Items, Cash To Orphanage Homes, Others

The Ukwuani Local Government Council Excellent Ladies Association, led by Comr. Mrs. Lilian Ekezue, on Wednesday, visited orphanage homes and general hospitals across the Local Government Area with food items and cash gifts.

During the outing, Mrs Ekezue stated that the visit to the orphanage homes and hospitals was in fulfillment of the promise they made to God when they celebrated their second anniversary on August 10, 2025.

In her brief remarks, she noted that, they were on the outreach because of the tremendous support the group has received from the capacity and performing Executive Chairman of Ukwuani Local Government, Hon. (Barr.) C.S Possible Ajede.

The group prayed and distributed cash gifts to patients on admission at Obiaruku and Umutu General Hospitals, and also bags of rice, bags of garri, cartons of Indomie, and other items for the orphanage homes.

In their separate remarks, the owners of the orphanage homes and patients at the hospitals expressed their gratitude to the Excellent Ladies Association for reaching out to them at a critical time in their lives.
