Daniel Reyenieju Emerges New DUG National Chairman
Rt. Hon. Daniel Reyenieju, a former three-time member of the House of Representatives, has emerged as the new national chairman of the Delta Unity Group (DUG), a prime political and strategic group in Delta State.
This followed the voluntary resignation of Chief Clement Ofuani as national chairman.
Rt. Hon. Reyenieju, a respected political leader, was unanimously nominated after widespread consultations.
In the same vein, Hon. Fred Ofume, a former chairman of Ika South Local Government Council and serving Senior Legislative Aide to the Senate President, was nominated as National Secretary. He replaces Comrade (Engr.) Michael Akpobire.

A statement issued by Sir Sunny Areh, National publicity Secretary of DUG, stated that going forward, other national executive positions will soon be rejigged to ensure greater effectiveness of DUG.
He thanked Chief Ofuani and Engr. Akpobire for their dedication and service during their tenure.
He said a date for the inauguration of the new DUG leaders will be announced soon.
