JAMB Announces Q1 2026 Start For UTME Registration
The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has revealed that registration for the 2026 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) will begin in the first quarter of 2026.
The Board confirmed that all necessary preparations, including the accreditation of centres and validation of personnel, have been completed to ensure a smooth and secure registration process nationwide.
According to JAMB, the early commencement of registration is aimed at enhancing transparency, security, and coordination throughout the process. Candidates have been strongly cautioned against engaging in malpractice, with strict consequences highlighted for any irregularities during registration or the examination itself.

JAMB also assured prospective candidates that application documents and registration guidelines will be released early in the new year to facilitate proper preparation.
