Renowned cleric and respected spiritual leader, Archbishop Phillips Orovwuje, is dead.

The news of the passing of the cleric who is the founder of the Garden of Life Assembly (GOLA) based in Effurun, has thrown the Christian community, particularly in Delta State and the wider Niger Delta region, into mourning.

Although full details surrounding his death are yet to be officially disclosed, multiple sources close to the church confirmed the development, saying he died on Monday night.
