DESOPADEC Hands Over Farms To Ugbodede, Madagho Communities
…As Efele Encourages Them To Make Good Use Of The Opportunity

As part of its interventionist’s responsibilities to provide infrastructure and develop human capital for its mandate communities, the Commission recently handed over a Cassava farm and a fish farm to some members of Ugbodede and Madagho Communities in Warri South and Warri South West Local Government Areas respectively.
Addressing the beneficiaries in his office at the Commission’s Headquarters, the Executive Director, Planning, Research and Statistics, Pst. Efele Eyewuoma Nicholas advised and encouraged them to make good use of the opportunity given them to better themselves as well as contribute to the wellbeing of their Communities.

The members of Ugbodede Community who had the rare privilege to own and manage the Cassava farm in their Community include Ikanone Ofeoeitse; Oritsema Kingsway and Anirejuoritse Bojor, while the members of Madagho community who also had the privilege to own and manage the fish farm in their Community include Elliot Tonwe; Solomon Uwawah and Bemigho Pade Uwan.
In their respective reponses, they promised to do their best towards ensuring that they properly managed and sustained the farms while appreciating DESOPADEC for deeming it fit to site such valuable economic investments in their communities.
