“No Room For Criminals In Delta,” Adejobi Declares

The Deputy Commissioner of Police in charge of Operations at the Delta State Police Command, Olumuyiwa Adejobi, has vowed that security operatives will not be intimidated in their resolve to tackle crime in the state.

Adejobi made the declaration in a Facebook post on Friday, where he dismissed suggestions that law enforcement officers could be bullied into silence or rendered ineffective.

“They think they can bully us into silence and make us incapacitated. It can never happen,” he wrote.

Reaffirming the commitment of the police, he stressed that Delta State would be rid of criminal elements, including kidnappers and drug-related offenders, warning that there would be no hiding place for them.

“We have determined to clean Delta State. There is no room for criminals, drug barons, drug peddlers and their agents, and kidnappers. We will sniff them out,” he added.

Describing policing as both a profession and a passion, Adejobi underscored the readiness of officers to intensify operations across the state.

“Policing is our hobby and our career,” he stated, ending the post with “Hakuna matata,” a phrase suggesting calm confidence despite the challenges.
