Soludo Appoints Nwabunwanne Okonkwo As Pioneer CEO Of Anambra Investment Corporation
Governor of Anambra State, Prof. Chukwuma Charles Soludo, has appointed Nwabunwanne Okonkwo as the pioneer Chief Executive Officer of the newly established Anambra State Development and Investment Corporation (ADIC).

Christian Aburime, Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, who said this in a statement on Monday, added that “the appointment is aimed at driving the corporation’s mandate of attracting, financing and overseeing major business and infrastructure project development, as well as boosting private sector investment across Anambra State.”
Okonkwo, a finance lawyer with over 16 years of experience in the financial services sector, is expected to lead the corporation in positioning Anambra as a major investment destination.
Before his appointment, he served as the Managing Director of DLM Advisory, the investment banking arm of DLM Capital Group, a development investment bank known for leading innovative financial transactions in Nigeria.
During his time at DLM Advisory, he helped mobilise over $1 billion for various governments and corporate organisations across several industries in Africa.
At 39, Okonkwo holds a Master’s degree in Corporate Finance from Wayne State University, Michigan, United States.
The appointment was announced in a statement signed by the Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, Christian Aburime, on April 20, 2026.
