Ukwuani LGA Chairman To Hold Town Hall Meeting With Key Stakeholders Monday

The Executive Chairman of Ukwuani Local Government Area, Possible Ajede, Esq., has invited a broad spectrum of stakeholders to a town hall meeting scheduled to hold on Monday, April 13, 2026.

The meeting, which is expected to bring together political, traditional, and community leaders, will take place at the Iyemere Civic Centre by 10:00 a.m.

According to the notice, the engagement aims to foster dialogue between the local government leadership and critical stakeholders across the council area.

Those invited include members of the Traditional Council such as kings and Onochie Ezes, councillors and supervisory councillors, as well as leaders of political parties including the APC and others.

Also expected at the meeting are church leaders under CAN and PFN, youth leaders, community chairmen, and representatives of the National Youth Council of Nigeria (NYCN).

The list further includes heads of market women, security agencies—such as the police, army, NDLEA, DSS, vigilante groups, anti-cult units, and road safety officials—as well as leaders of non-indigenous communities including Yoruba, Igbo, and Hausa groups.

Other invitees are community presidents-general, okada riders’ executives, NURTW, NUT, the Nigerian Bar Association, civil society organisations, traditional title holders, PTA leaders, NULGE executives, and heads of primary and secondary schools.

Media practitioners, student leaders of Ukwuani extraction, representatives of registered clubs and associations, petty traders, executive members of UFU and NNU and other opinion leaders are also expected to attend.

The chairman urged all invited stakeholders to attend promptly, emphasizing the importance of collective participation in discussing issues affecting the local government area.
