Soludo Appoints New Managing Directors For Key Anambra Agencies
The Governor of Anambra State, Chukwuma Charles Soludo, has approved the appointment of new Managing Directors for three strategic government agencies in the state.
In a press statement issued on May 4, 2026 and signed by Christian Aburime, Chief Press Secretary, the governor announced the appointment of Mr. Emeka Okonkwo (Konti) as Managing Director of the Anambra Road Traffic Management Agency (ARTMA). Mr. Chukwuemeka Fred Agbata was named Managing Director of the Anambra State Information and Communication Technology Agency (ASICTA), while Mr. Osita Onuko was appointed to head the Awka Capital Territory Development Authority (ACTDA).

According to the statement, the newly appointed heads are expected to inject renewed energy, efficiency, and commitment into the operations of their respective agencies, in line with the administration’s development agenda.
