Democracy Day: Hon. Ebizi Brown Urges Unity, Deeper Democratic Values
Residents of Sagbama Constituency 3 in Bayelsa State and Nigerians across the country have been urged to remain steadfast in unity, peace, and active participation in the democratic process as Nigeria celebrates Democracy Day.
In a goodwill message, Hon. Ebizi Brown felicitated her constituents, the people of Bayelsa State, and Nigerians at large, describing democracy as the bedrock of justice, freedom, equality, and inclusive development in Nigeria.
She noted that Democracy Day serves as a reminder of the sacrifices of national heroes who fought to ensure that the voices of Nigerians remain central in governance and nation-building.
The lawmaker called for continued cooperation, tolerance, and civic responsibility among citizens, stressing that sustainable development can only be achieved in an atmosphere of peace and unity across the country.
